About the speakers

Rebecka Peebles, MD, FAAP

Vice President of Adolescent Medicine, Monte Nido & Affiliates, Miami, FL

Dr. Rebecka Peebles is the Vice President of Adolescent Medicine at Monte Nido and Affiliates. She joined there after 13 years at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Perelman School of Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania, where she was an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, specializing in adolescent and young adult medicine. Dr. Peebles is board certified in pediatrics and further specialty certified in adolescent and young adult medicine, and served as the Director of Medical Research and Quality Innovations in the Eating Disorder Assessment and Treatment Program at CHOP, which she co-founded in 2011. Her research has been funded by the NIH and the American Heart Association, and has focused on medical evaluation, bone health, and biobehavioral links in youth with eating disorders. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine with her MD in 1996, completed her pediatrics residency at the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital in Ohio in 1999, and her adolescent medicine fellowship at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford in 2003.

Olga Myszko, M.D

Attending Physician, Tribeca Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine New York, NY

As a lifelong New Yorker, Dr. Myszko earned her bachelor’s degree from the Macaulay Honors College at City University of New York-Hunter College and earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.

She completed both a residency in Pediatrics and a three-year fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore-Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has also completed training programs in health technology, design and innovation.

Clinically, Dr. Myszko has strong interests in the management of metabolic disorders and eating disorders, hormonal and menstrual disorders including polycystic ovary syndrome, and adolescent mental health illnesses.

She has served on multiple committees nationally around adolescent health and is an active member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, and the International Association for Eating Disorders.

She has worked at Tribeca Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine since completing her training, where she provides evidence-based, patient-centered care in a concierge setting. Dr. Myszko is board certified in Pediatrics and board-eligible in Adolescent Medicine, and licensed to practice medicine in New York.
